How to connect

Sunday Mornings

We gather at 09h30 on Sundays to worship the Lord, hear the preaching of the Gospel and to meet up afterwards around a cup of coffee and cake. This is a great time to meet folk and make some friends.

HCC Kids

We have programs for children aged 5 to 13 on Sunday mornings at our Youth Centre building (The Ark) where we teach them the Gospel in easy to understand ways. We play games, have arts & crafts and really aim to have loads of fun with them, while giving them heaps of space to make friends with the other children.

Connect Groups

We have a variety of groups in the church where everyone is welcome to join in as and when they can. Some of these groups centre around like-minded interests (Walking/Hiking, Single Ladies, Over 60s) and get together once a week and/or once a month while others meet in folk’s homes on week nights to share the scriptures and pray for each other. These groups encourage friendship. Come visit us on Sunday to find out how we can connect you to a group that would suit you.

Teens Long Table

We have a monthly Teens Long Table get together where they get to meet new friends and hang out with current friends. They share a meal, play some games and chat about things that matter to them. We’ve seen this develop into a great space where teens have felt free to invite their school friends to join.

Worship Practice

We have a number of musicians at Highway and we welcome many more to join. If you play an instrument and/or love to sing (in key!) and you’d be interested in finding out more, join us on Thursday nights at our weekly practice. Come visit us on Sunday and we’ll hook you up to the relevant persons.
